‘Whenever I Think of You’ dots a deep-hued backdrop like twinkling stars in a 16-bit animation. Staring into a deep blue sky of gif-like constellations, Angelica Bess glides into view and sets a reflective tone of feeling invisible and is deeply absorbed in thoughts of somebody unattainable. Spelling out her astrological position in this great expanse, her call to the universe - "Whenever I Think of You" soars into a driving beat reminiscent of Inoj or the Ghost Town DJ’s. The track's development over its four-minute span shines with twists of sampled vocals and kinetic hi-hats. And to further the mood, 'Legendary' song-crafter and club kid, JT Almon, has added a slow burning remix of 'Whenever' that travels deeper into this midnight sky with a few harder-edged synths lighting the way.

Angelica recounts, “Whenever I Think of You" is about being deeply absorbed in your thoughts of someone especially when you can't be with them. when that person is unattainable, your meditative state is your only escape to freedom. your mind is like a vault so why not take pleasure in filling it with thoughts about someone you admire.
